On 18th October 2016 I chose to leave Theme Park Worldwide, due to the ever increasing disagreements with various members of the Theme Park Worldwide group.
This was mainly due to not being asked to join them on multiple trips & also selfish behaviour towards me, so in the end after a minor verbal confrontation with the group at a scare attraction I chose to call it a day with Theme Park Worldwide.
Since the date above I have had no involvement with Theme Park Worldwide, and I have no plans to have any involvement with Theme Park Worldwide in the future.
After the verbal confrontation with the group at the scare attraction I left the site, and I posted a Tweet stating I would be leaving Theme Park
Worldwide.
The quote below was posted by Theme Park Worldwide across various social media channels the following day...
Quote from Theme Park Worldwide (19th October 2016)
"As of today, Dean will no longer be part of Theme Park Worldwide due to inappropriate behavior which conflicts with our values. Dean's contributions to the channel have been appreciated over the past few years, however as of today he will no longer be associated with Theme Park Worldwide."
The choice of words used in the statement tried to portray that something major had occurred, and replies from Theme Park Worldwide on social media also tried to portray the same message.
I want to assure everyone that nothing untoward happened that night to warrant calling it inappropriate.
More recently there's been allegations brought against previous members of Theme Park Worldwide in July 2020.
Like I've explained above I've not been involved with the channel since 18th October 2016.
